Navigating the magical realms of Disney Dreamlight Valley often leads players to clever puzzles and cryptic riddles. During the A Prince in Disguise quest, players must assist the Beast by recovering missing key pieces to unlock a special chest. One of the most intriguing clues provided by Lumiere requires players to uncover a key piece hidden in a hot place.
Locating the Hidden Key Piece
To begin solving the riddle, head inside the Beauty and the Beast Realm castle and make your way to the library. Inside the library, you will spot a lit fireplace along the wall. Equipping your royal watering can and spraying the flames directly will extinguish the fire and release the hidden key piece.
Solving the Remaining Castle Riddles
Finding the first key piece is only part of the broader scavenger hunt needed to progress through the storyline. Lumiere provides two additional clues that direct players toward a statue of a lion and a hidden spot within the garden maze. Using your pickaxe on the lion statue and digging with your shovel in the maze center will secure all required key fragments.
Reassembling the Key and Continuing the Quest
Once all three key pieces have been retrieved, return to the Beast to assemble the key and unlock the chest. Inside, you will retrieve the Enchanted Mirror needed to advance the quest goals. This milestone unlocks further objectives, including crafting a special Book Kit and preparing the Beast to meet Belle in the valley.
